The new look Red Room is FANTASTIC!

the old layout made it relatively difficult to get a decent dancefloor going, especially early on. you had to deliberately *want* to dance. now you just have to be in the room and you’re pretty much on the dancefloor. once a couple of people hiding at the sides start shaking their hips, more people join in and before you know it you’ve got a full dancefloor by 11pm. RESULT!

the photo above was taken just before 2am on saturday night/sunday morning, and had been that way for the last three hours (normally the dancefloor starts filling up around midnight). I think the spice girls may or may not have been playing at the time.
